I’m a creative problem solver with a passion for brand strategy and design. That means going beyond aesthetics. Making something that looks good is fine. But building a solid foundation based in strategy is what makes brands that people can believe in. This is my aim with every single project.
While I've always been into creative pursuits, design came a little later. I went to college for journalism then worked as a classic rock radio DJ. Once I left that rock and roll (adjacent) lifestyle for marketing, I discovered graphic design. At first, I just needed to learn a few basics to get some tasks done, but quickly I realized that this stuff is really fun. Using books, online courses, and good old trial and (lots of) error, I learned design, focusing mainly on logos.
That led into moving past vectors and deep-diving into the world of branding. I love how every project is a new challenge and a new opportunity to learn about a different industry. Designing and writing for an array of clients never gets old. I look forward to seeing what else awaits along this path.
